My blog will provide interesting and entertaining information about the world of science fiction and fantasy; concentrating on movies, but allowing for other mediums such as books, graphic novels, television and computer games, in order to pique interest and generate discussion.

If it was up to me my blog would be done like this, but alas, we can't get everything we want.

My audience will hopefully be a wide variety of readers as I will tailor my blog to be accessible to those who are not necessarily familiar with the genre, as well as providing things of interest to those that might consider themselves experts in the area.

I will use social networking sites such as twitter and facebook to attract readers to my blog, as well as getting to know other more well known blogs and bloggers of the same topic in order to establish a relationship and build reliability for my blog. I will also keep readers interested by varying the type of posts I provide and not just repeating the same format.

In my blog I will provide good quality posts, including reviews, tips on what to watch, ‘top 10’ lists and general discussion of the sci-fi genre and items that are featured in the media recently, while always inviting readers for discussion or comment on the item or post.

With my blog I would like to provide a quality destination on the web and become a legitimate and credited member of the online sci-fi community. My blog will provide a means of recreation for myself, a place to hone my skills as a writer and hopefully in the future provide a source of income.

With regards to the aesthetics of my blog, I want it to appear simple, modern and uncluttered, in keeping with the sci-fi genre, while at the same time being inviting and pleasing to readers.
